What actors/films have been your biggest influences as an actress, and what are the types of and/or specific roles that you’d love to play?
This would be a never ending list, but to paraphrase, I’d want to have the opportunity for a role where I have the poise and elegance of Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the strength she had in Charades, the wit and banter of A Woody Allen movie, a bit of flare & fight from Cruz in Volver and Rapace in
the Larson Trilogy, to speak words from JJ Abrams, to be brutally raw like Gia, followed by scaling walls and trucks as double and triple agent Salt, innocents of falling in love juxtaposed against the savageness of being true to tradition in Underworld (pt 1 or 3), a never ending imagination to guide a journey through the Labyrinth, to take in the blood soaked sands of Rome in Spartacus, or to be Headey and witness the rise and fall of a kingdom in Game of Thrones and battle off Judgment Day and lastly for good measure, for the kid in me who always wanted to fly like Rogue, a good marvel action flick (preferably Xmen-saga). Theatre is my heart and I’d love to do Skin of Our Teeth, Gruesome Playground Injuries, One flea Spare, Billboard, Twelfth Night, Les Liaison Dangerous, Rent, See What I Wanna See, Wild Party, Wicked, BRKLYN. My love of characters, directors, actors, mediums, genres are as eclectic as my taste in music. If I get to put on someone else’s skin, shoes, clothes, thoughts – I want to do it. Hillary Swank stays in character throughout shooting, I would love to get to a point where I feel confident and comfortable enough in my craft and have a production with a role that would warrant that method.
What do you wish you were better at, or would love to learn to do (either as an actress or in life in general)? JessicaRabbit
Hi JessicaRabbit, I wish I had been more dedicated to foreign languages. I have lived in several different countries and while I was dedicated to the language while there I never stuck with it. I’d kill to speak German, French, and Japanese fluently along with several others. That and dance. I love to dance, but I’m talking SYTYCD, Alvin Ailey crazy choreo stuff. Who can snap there fingers and give me that?! Ha.

Do you have any final words for the fans?
Thank you! As a kid I’d put on shows for an empty room and it’d be all about and all for me, as an adult I hope to evoke thought, emotion or simply entertain, and I realize in order to accomplish any of that there has to be an audience. So thank you for letting us entertain you, scare you, challenge your beliefs or maybe even inspire you. I love what I do and it’s you, the audience who lets me continue to do it. So thank you.
