Do you think that there should be a second season?

Absolutely! I always liked the quote, “…God gave me my talent and I was afraid of facing him one day if I didn’t use it.” – Jack Sorenson Cowgirl Up has something special, largely in part due to the team behind it. I’d love to see it continue on.

Hey Wild Thing! First of all, thank you for giving Cowgirl Up it’s well heeled, bar brawling, rip roaring attitude. I hope you’ll be on for another ride if we do a 2nd Season. My question is — where did you hide the bourbon bottle at the ranch? Kidding. Other than snakes, what’s your Kryptonite? Because I never heard you say no to anything we asked you to do or make happen. And what’s the thing as an actress that challenges you? Love you girl, come to NOLA! Nancylee

Hi ya Boss, I’m there as long as you’ll let me ride! (How awesome was Nancylee’s cameo, twirling that gun?! Yeehaw!) Bourbon Bottle far enough the whiskey lovin’ cast didn’t drain it but close enough to pour when wrapped. (Here’s a note, the whiskey bottle Jo show’s up with for strip poker was of course filled with coke and water, but it had been an unopened bottle of Jack the night before.)

Kryptonite? Aside from snakes, there really isn’t much I won’t do or at least try – I know that’s kind of boring…I’m not big on bugs either though. The more legs the more girlish my screams become. What challenges me as an actress, the need to be constantly prepared, whether physically or mentally. It’s what I also love about it. I often get cast as the villain or tough-girl, so staying in touch with my emotions and also being open to them is super important to me. Anything that is outside of that comfort or normal ‘life’ box is what ignites my passion for acting, it may get my nerves going but that thrill is why I do what I do. And yes, NOLA for sure!!

If there was a second season would you want to be more involved on screen?

“When” there is a second season I’d love to be as involved as the storyline, my character and the creative team allows. I’m game for anything (but snakes) they want to throw Rusty’s way.

Can you describe the off screen stunt work you did on Cowgirl Up?

I doubled for all of the close-ups on the gun work, such as the fan firing the revolver, as well as going over safety and handling of all the weapons. Some of the girls had never held a gun, and even with blanks guns are deadly. They all did a great job and all fired at some point during filming.

I also worked with Mandy and Marybeth for their death-defying leap…from the flatbed of a truck. But that truck was high – it actually was. But that truck was high – it actually was.

And I choreographed Marnie’s kidnapping. The thing for that was, keeping Marnie open to Camera, yet accessible for Nicole to slip in and get her in a hold she “couldn’t” get out of. The hold had to continue the suspension of disbelief while also offering support to Marnie as her character is drug away against her will. The reality being she was in total control of the struggle and was being lead backwards safely by Nicole. Finally making sure all are safe as the golf-cart with a hemi engine takes off. That thing had power.
