Shannan Leigh Reeve Interview
During my trip to California, back in March, we were unable to meet for an interview due to your busy schedule. What projects were you working on at the time, and what is their current status?
March was nuts, I was in the middle of filming CROSSROADS, opening the 4 week run of a new play Deconstruction of Daddy, filmed a behind the scenes interview for CROSS, and an AFI short, Wedding Day. That was all in addition to 30+ shows a week at Universal Studios, my “day job.” I don’t remember sleeping much in March.
Current Status? Well principle photography on CROSSROADS is wrapped. There are still a few pick up scenes to shoot, but it is now in Post. It’s going to be tight, but Ynot/Sinpelo Ent. is trying to make the late entry deadline for Sundance 2012. Deconstruction of Daddy is closed and the director has approached me for a feature he currently has in preproduction, but it is Hollyweird-so who knows. CROSS is now available on DVD from Sony at Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy and Amazon as well as Netflix and Amazon instant video. It will be screening July 23rd at the Fright Night 2011 in Kentucky. Currently a trilogy is in talks. I don’t know what came of Wedding Day, but sometimes, that’s just what happens.
