Interviews – COWGIRL UP and SOUTH OF NOWHERE Cast
March, 2011

 

In late 2010, Nancylee Myatt (South of Nowhere, 3-Way, and Cowgirl Up) offered me a chance to go to California to interview the cast of Cowgirl Up. It took longer than I had hoped to arrange it, but it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. It finally came to fruition in early March.

Nancylee sent an email out to members of not only the Cowgirl Up cast, as we had originally discussed, but also to members of the South of Nowhere cast, thus, ensuring  me a nice mix of people from both shows to interview. I knew that there was no way I could realistically get to meet with or interview everyone, but I had such a great experience with the individuals I did interview. Many who weren’t available expressed heartfelt disappointment that they couldn’t make it. Several of them said that they would be happy to do one via the internet. So, be on the look out for details regarding future interviews.

A better script could not have been written for my time in California. The perfect cast was chosen, and their performances left me wanting an encore. So to them, if you’re reading this right now, feel free to stand and take a bow.
